after seeing 66 shelby on ebay for 75k what does that make my 65 worth . i've seen the 66 on ebay in person ..and my car is 10 times what that car is dont get me wrong my car is not perfect but it is a 65 restored more limited, and i know its only worth what someone will spend . i feel 150k would not be out of range compared to the 66 am i crazy to think this .....????????????????????

I have heard of 2 65's sold recently for 140,000 and 150,000. I sold my 65 six months ago for 95,000 and it was just a decent driver with spliced in 1/4 panels non matching drive train. It was cleaned up and resold for 140,000 buy the buyer. These cars were starting at 75,000 just a year ago so that kind of goes along with the 66's at 45,000 a year ago. We should be proud of the future for our steeds!

That would be hard to turn down. But I guess you still have your car?

Charley Buys Cars he does Not sell them. He has one of the most Interesting Garages full of the Coolest Muscle Cars and Street Rods I have ever seen pictures of! His 65 GT350 is in "Just Rolled off the Assembly line two seconds ago condition". as for Dans GT350 at $150K.....If It has the Original Engine and Trans, The Roof repair does not Hurt it. I think the smart thing to do is send it to where Charley sent His Car, and when it comes Back, Get some Crazy Money for it!!

I do sell them sometimes when there is something else I want. Or sometimes you just get bored and want something different. When the offer was made on the 65 it was still on the truck coming to me from the restoration shop. Hard to sell a car without even seeing how it turned out.

Who actually restored that Car? What condition was it in when you came across it? I can relate to your theory of Keep till something else strikes your desires.

Shelby Parts and Restoration in Greenbay Wi. did the car. I got it a few years ago as a running car that someone had started to take apart to make a race car out of it. Then it was pointed out to the owner that it was too nice of a car to make into a track only car.

I had them rebuild a Shifter for my 68 GT500 a few years ago. Jim is a Real good guy to deal with and what I have seen of their work, they are second to No one. wise choice!
