    Hi All

I've been collecting Fords for 30+ years. My 66 GT350 is in need of more than a complete restoration and this place looked like a good place to ask a few questions and maybe even offer some help on occasion.

    Thanks!

    Hi Vern

I'll try to dig some pic's up of the GT350 (the car is in storage). It had been used as a drag racer and is tubbed in back and has a tube front end. I've got a lot of work to do if I want to go vintage racing.

    Welcome!
I'd love to see the pix as well.
Does Howard have the history of your car?

    You answered your own question!
Howard is the 65 / 66 Registrar and one of the most knowledgeable and nice guys @ SAAC.

Do I win anything for that?

Sounds like I need to put Howard on my x-mas card list. :D

Here's a pic of the project when it had to spend a season outside a few years back

Unfortunately I don't know the drag history but was likely set up that way in the 1970s or 1980s. There's no significant history that I know of. The car has a narrowed 9" with MW axles, a full cage with what looks like a spot for a chute in back, and some homemade (Mustang II?) front suspension. No interior and no drive train. The car is in deep storage until I finish (or sell) a few other projects.
