It is a car that spent about 10 years in a<BR>&gt;&gt; junk yard. I have some questions but it is most likely<BR>&gt;&gt; a Shelby.<BR>&gt;&gt; Dave M.<BR></DIV>

<DIV>I myself have sent the seller two e-bay e-mails and I have not received a reply to either one. </DIV>
    <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>VIN says this car came with an automatic transmission and the pictures show it has a 4 speed.</DIV>
    <DIV>Seller has "0" feedback.</DIV>
    <DIV>Seller does not list a phone number.</DIV>
<DIV>Seller does not have a Marti report on the car.</DIV>
    <DIV>Seller does not e-mail back.</DIV>
<DIV>The 1997 SAAC Registry had the car in Texas last and the auction says the car was found in a wearhouse in&nbsp;California where it sat for 6 years before it was restored.&nbsp;&nbsp;</DIV>
    <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>Besides all the other things non-original items you mentioned and no view of the VIN plate why would you&nbsp;call this a "good" scam? The car in the pictures&nbsp;could easily be just a clone of 0834.&nbsp;</DIV>
    <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>I don't know if this auction is for the real car, a clone or a scam, but just the fact that the seller has "0" feedback and can't be reached should be enough to raise a red flag for anyone, don't you think?&nbsp;</DIV>
    <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>Send the&nbsp;seller one simple e-mail just asking for their phone number.&nbsp; If you don't get&nbsp;a reply back you'll know what to think. If you do get a phone number then call them and ask them your&nbsp;questions and then give us an update.&nbsp;&nbsp;</DIV>

<P>Tuesday afternoon a GT500 listed on eBay will be closing.&nbsp;&nbsp; In the photos, the car has an 120 speed, wrong steering wheel+engine+? and no where in the photos is the tach or S-A tag visible.&nbsp; In my antiquated copy of the Registry it belongs to a name I recall from Texas (which is where the car was supposed to be).&nbsp; I sent the seller a request for photos of the tach, belt retractors, torque box above the fwd mounting point of the leaf springs and the VIN plate and passenger side stampings.&nbsp; No response... in over 3 days.&nbsp; The bid stands at over $100k... are these scams getting better?</P>
