I own an '06, and it is a fantastic car at all speeds. Some cars had acouple of serious issues. Early lower control arms were miscast and were cracking, all have been replaced under recall and the casting process changed. Still out there are reports of the axle hub bolts failing on cars that have been driven harder than street scenario. Most owners I think have upgraded to aftermarket bolts (from Accufab @ at around $200). I installed the Accufab performance kits (Throttle body, X pipe, Tune) and it made a great difference, but even bone stock the car is a blast to drive.
