Recently purchased 2007 Shelby 350...if I wanted to add a sunroof and spoiler, would that be a bad decision as far as not hurting the future resale value??
Re: Question??? Hey welcome to the forums! As for the SHELBY GT, dont worry your not the first one to get it wrong , It would hurt the value to do the mods. But then again, they built 6000 of them so i wouldnt be worried about value to start off. Best Regards, Vern
Re: Question??? IMHO.........I would consider a Shelby GT or 500 with a sunroof to be ruined. It would drop the value twice as much or more than a comparible car without. Wait until 2009, I believe they are coming out with a glass roof Mustang, probably availible on the Shelbys too.
If Carroll Shelby wanted a sunroof in the car he would have put one in! I wouldn't do it. Not only would it devalue the car, but when it starts leaking it will ruin the interior.
I have the same car... I have a spoiler on my car it looks great and if your worried about the value you can always take it off. As for the sunroof I would recommend that you leave it alone because that is a major mod that will decrease the vaule of your car. - Anthony
