Aloha all, rshelby left an address at Club Cobra for this site, so I thought the least I could do was join. Thanks for the invitation. Don't have a picture to post yet (I'll learn how to figure this stuff out yet!), but am looking forward to learning more about these great cars. Who knows, I may get lucky at the drawing in May for the CSX 4000 Cobra and win that, wouldn't that be nice, for me that is. A nice thing about Hawaii is the year round good weather, a drawback is that it is lot like being a dog in a big backyard, doesn't take long to run out of new places to run. mahalo, what part of Hawaii are u living in? seems like the road to Hana would be fun in a 600HP fire breathing monster v8 with a stickshift.
I live in Kailua on Oahu. I jumped into Hana airport and had the pleasure of driving someone's car from Hana back to Kahalui once many years ago. Talk about a twisty road! I think a 600hp cobra would be a major work out as in a 2 hour + autocross, assuming tourists didn't get in front of you and really slow you down.
