    I have been a Shelby fan since 1963 when I saw my first Cobra beat the hell out of Corvettes in an A Production SCCA race in Thompson CT. Have been a fan ever since.

    that had to be amazing.. the glory days of this sport. I am to young to have been able to see that but I fell in love with these cars from the first visions of one back in 1970 when a neighbor rolled in to his driveway with one...wow!

    The driver of the Cobra in that race was Bob Johnson in the #33. I will never forget the power and sound of that car.
