Hello All. I was excited when I learned of this site!! Always looking to talk to new Mustang Freiends!! I live in Crawfordsville, In. We have had a pretty long winter it seems as I can't wait until Spring finally arrives!! A little about myself: I have been messing with Mustangs since 1977 when I purchased my first a 66 coupe! Since then I have had over 30 various years with 1969 being my favorite. I have had 2-69 R codes and 1 was a super CJ/drag pack! I wish I had that one back! If I only knew in '84 what it would be worth today!!! Anyway hindsite is 20-20 right! LOL, I have 2 69 California Fastbacks now, 1 a 302/at/ps/pb car with the folddown and the other is a 69-351 M code, AT/AC/PS/PB and foldown. That is my favorite> My dream is to someday actually own a 69 or 70 Shelby! I would like to transform one of my cars into a Shelby clone just not sure what it would cost? Anyway I am tired of writing and I want to check out what this site has to offer!! God Bless,Scott
You live about a 2 hour drive from the best Shelby meet in the country. The Indiana SAAC "Spring Fling" is at Brown County State Park every year the weekend before Memorial day. It's near Nashville IN. About an hour south of Indy. Check it out. And, the car show is Saturday that weekend. Also includes Tigers, Panteras', Ford GT's, new and old Shelbys, and often a Cobra or two, and regular Mustangs and Fords. See you there.
