Dave thought he saw a 68 Playboy pink Shelby, I came across this info on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Vetri Victoria Vetri, 1968 Playmate of the Year, new car an all pink AMC AMX, Connie Kreski, 1969 Playmate of the Year, a pink 1969 Shelby
Tough work, I know, it's a lousy job but someone has to do it! I have a poster coming, my girlfriend ordered for me, of Playmate of the Year, I think '98. She is posing with a 427 Cobra. I'll post a pic when I get it!
I think that poster you are talking about is heather kozar. I had a friend that toured with the car and he gave me a ton of those posters. I still have them rolled up in my garage i was going to frame one but have not yet. I also owned car 1650 it was a 66 gt350 and it was a playboy playmate tour car in the 70's. I will look for the pics.
Heather Kozar, that's who it is! I was trying to remember her name, but all I could conjure up was an image of her, uh... face! Yea, her face, that's the ticket. Good stuff! The poster should be here soon, but it looks like you beat me to the punch. Can you post a pic of it? Thanks.
I had bidded on a Playboy (on Ebay) a couple of Years ago that had the Playmate of the Year posing with a 1968 Shelby Convertible in Playboy Pink. The Ad (Ebay) show photos of the Car (and Girl). I lost, the Auction ended at 2:00am and the highest bid was $175.00 I think. David.
I can't find any evidence. That of course means nothing. Most likely it would have been repainted. Let me know if you see it again. I just saw all the 1968 issues for sale at $10 each on Ebay.
