A couple of years ago I supplied one of my forty year old Goodyear original small letter tires to John Kelsey at Kelsey Tire in Camdenton, MO in hopes of having it reproduced. John worked his magic and reproduced the Goodyear small letter SPEEDWAY 350 tires to exact specs. After years of collecting data, the facts are there were more 1967 Shelby's with small letter tires than large letter tires. There was also a small number of 1968 cars with small letter tires. I wouldn't hesitate to call John or Peggy at 1-800-325-0091 or email them at kelsey@kelseytire.com to get your tires on order to make your 1967 Shelby complete. John Kelsey and his staff are a credit to our hobby.
How much $? How do these hook up in a straight line compared to the radials that I have always driven my car on?
Here is the link to Kelsey Tire. You can see the prices there. http://www.kelseytire.com/pages/preformancetires.html These are not made for performance, show cars only. If you want performance, get something else. I drive my car quite a bit so I run contempory performance tires.
