Hoping someone would have seen 68 Shelby #41, it's been 30 years since anyone saw it. Check this out. It can happen... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,340069,00.html
Re: A while back I posted a thread Yes, it can happen. An SUV was stolen from South Florida, exported to another Country where it stayed for about 15 Years. The new Owner moved to Miami bring the SUV with him. The original Owner started hearing a beeping noise comming from his Closet to find his old Keys beeping. He went to the local Police Station where they brought "LoJack up on the Computor. The "New Owner" was passing through his Town and stoped to Fill Up the SUV. The SUV was returned to the Original Owner since he never acceped the Low-Ball offer from his Insurance Company and the SUV was in better shape then when it was Stolen. David.
Re: A while back I posted a thread There was also a Shelby that was recovered about 30 years later and the Original Owner was in a Battle with the Insurance Company over it. The Insurance Company says it belongs to them because they paid the Claim and had Papers to Prove it. The Original Owner says even though he was paid by the Insurance Company, he still ownes it because he still has the Original Title. The News Paper never did a "Follow Up" on the Story. I would bet that the Insurance Company won though. David.
Re: A while back I posted a thread I find it interesting that insurance company never got the title when they paid the claim,
Re: A while back I posted a thread The car was gone, the claim was paid, it was a time when most Cars that were stolen were striped, so why bother. Plus we are talking 30 Years, things were done differently back then, not they make sure all the "T"s are crossed and the "I"s are dotted. David.
