I am putting back together my 66 GT350, the origical tach was stolen back in 1967 or 68 before I got teh car, but I purchased a Farina tech that was used in a 1965 Comet. It has the bullet connectors and worked just like the orginal, except, it's not correct. About 8 years ago I found one on the internet. After communicating with the seller, he always said he wanted ti to "go to a good home, not be sold on e-bay" We found out we only lived about 25 mils apart and he asked if he could see my car. We met at the barn it was stored in and he saw all of the stuff I had been collecting and seemed to be impressed. When it came down to price he turned to me and said" Here you can have it". The cup had been bead blasted and primered and the wire ends had been cut, but it it in very good condition. I'm not sure if it works and would like to send it to someone reliable tath can make sure it is in workable order. Anyone have any suggestions? 6S1431
Try the tachman.com...Can't recall for sure, but I think if the tach has the peg stop they can't be fixed. I am sure he can check it out, and spruce it up for you though. Also, if it isn't repairable, and doesn't work, cobranda has new tachs for around 400.00 I believe. Cheers.. Tommy
