66 carpet question

    I am replacing the carpet in 6s1185. Should it have the vinyl toe pad by the accelerator pedal?

    Yes and trim some left over carpet for the lower quarter panel carpet pieces rather than the ones supplied with the served (s?) edges ;)

    Thanks Jeff for confirmation that the toe pad should indeed be there.

    Regarding your comment on the 1/4 panel carpet: I don't have the carpet kit yet, but looking at what is in the car today, it appears the 1/4 panel pieces you are referring to have the tope edge "finished" as opposed to being an open cut, which is what I believe you are referring to as being severed (served).

    Can you confirm that these pieces need to have finished edges or should they be unfinished?
