Howdy, I am a GT350 owner, kind of. I have the last legal title to one, but not the car. It was taken from a mall parking lot on night during a date. A weird thing to say the least, looking out at the parking lot and saying well, I thought I parked over there. Well, with the mordern age, maybe one day me and my shelby will be reunited, Dave
Hey welcome to the forums! What year was the shelby? Maybe, just maybe its still hiding out there. Best Regards, Vern
Hi Vern, THanks, it was my favorite year Shelby, 1968, I am going to look for it once more. With the all the data available these days I might find it, Dave
Welcome. Post more info on the car along with the Vin - you never know - someone in CA just got his car back after 40 years! Mike
It was a daily driver, vin 8T02J12675300228, here is a link to a thread started on my behalf with a photo and section of the title, http://www.shelbyforums.com/forums/...-gt350-gt500/8110-gone-but-not-forgotten.html Dave
That sux Dave, I know the feeling, I had my first car (63 Fairlane) stolen from a parking lot. I went into the store with the g/f and came out 10 minutes later and it was gone. Needless to say my language that night would have made a sailor cringe! I hope you get it back. I HATE THIEVES!!!
I hear ya about thieves, hate em. I was an E5 with not much money to spare, and wish I could have parked the car for a future restoration. I still owed my parents for the car I traded for the shelby.
