Turquoise front strut bushing?

    I read in an old Mustang Monthly that the turquoise front strut washer was used on all 69's getting F60 tires. I have also heard it was used only on
    B29's. Again I ask....what is correct. Thanks again

    I have it on good authority that the turquise colored front strut rod washer was on all Boss Mustangs and Shelby's that had the larger suspension tie rod ends ,spindles etc that were built after 4/15/69 with the wider F 60 15 tires. it seems to have been some kind of identifacation marker.I hope this helps
