Lee, The confusion probably centers on the change of Georgia "Registration or Title". My understanding is Georgia, (like Alabama) was a "Registration" only State. Later changing to "Title" vehicles. The Florida Tag & Title clerks are trying to follow the rules, looking up tables and applying procedures. I suggest you personally call the Florida Tag & Title office. Get the decision direct from the source. Next consider having a Florida Dealer ( Jacksonville area) get involved with the transaction.
