I posted this on the HiPo forum and received several answers. I hope that someone who has/had an original 67 GT-350 with an automatic transmission can answer this.
According to the 1997 Shelby World Registry page 1299, the C-4 trans has the "A" intermediate servo piston and cover. In the HiPo Registry 4th edition page 64, the 1967 C-4 specs do not include the "C" servo. What is the correct C-4 trans for a 67 K-code auto- equipped car?
I have one of the last 12 67 GT-350's built. It has a July Ford build date. It has the "A" servo and cover, but I am not the original owner and the transmission may not be original. The tag is missing-prior owner lost it during rebuild? Does anyone out there have a late 67 K-code automatic car that can verify which servo is correct?
    Thank you

The '67 GT350's did use an "A" code servo....
You can upgrade to an "H" or a "C" for about $100..and it really makes a difference...

Mark - I'll take ALL of the usable "C" servos (original OR repro) that you can come up with for $100.

Cookie - There will definately be a noticeable difference between the "A" servo and an "H" or a "C". As I said on another forum, the "A" servo is correct for a '67 GT350 C4, but a "C" servo will make an improvement in the 1-2 shift that you'l be able to feel with no other modifications.

Did you pull the pan and check the tag on the valve body yet?...or the tailshaft and check the governor?

    regards,

Thanks for the information on the servo. I will take a closer look at the transmission later this summer.
