    Hello all,
Can anyone help me with these few things?
First is the spark-coil bracket type, color and position: I have two different brackets, one is made of a single piece of steel and the other is made of two welded together. Also I have seen them painted black, blue and nautral. Which is correct? I have also seen them mounted on the front of the cylinder head or on the intake. Any ideas?

The other thing is the steel oil fill tube in the front of the aluminum intake. Is there a way to remove it without taking the intake off??? Or is it even possible with the intake off???
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks again,
    Carl Schneider

I believe the bracket is black phos coated ,one piece with a small fine threaded bolt and nut holding it tight around the coil. All held to intake (i believe) with a bolt with a recessed head and a lock type washer. As for the tube Ithink they are pressed in.

The coil bracket is a bent single piece of metal painted semi-gloss black or plated phosphate and oil

As for location I see almost all of the original ones attached to the drivers side head... but of course if you car is an AC car ... that makes a difference
