When I purchased my GT500 22 years ago there was a 351 Cleveland 4 barrell engine in it. This engine had a Shelby air cleaner, valve covers and intake. Are these items rare? I don't know when they were put on the car and I find it unusual to find Cleveland engine Shelby items since the 69/70 had the 351 Windsor. I was thinking that these might be for a Pantera but they had Detomasso items, no? I found a date correct 428PI for my Shelby back then. I've put these 351 Cleveland Shelby parts on EBay. Anyone familiar with these items? thanks-Rich
anything with shelby script is from his aftermarket co. The Cobra logo was sold to Ford in 68, they then used the Shelby name. With the cleavland coming into production in 70, your parts are from the early 70s. The c engine was popular in the 70s not now. How rare? they ant makin em any more, but rare and desirable are different. I have seen a few but some time ago.
They sold on Ebay for what I consider pretty good bids. intake $525 valve covers $225 air cleaner $300
