Yes excellent vehicle. You know though $250,000 isn't allot of money to
some people. Shelby's are a significant vehicle for the 60's muscle. Let's
look at house prices. The same house in 1976 was $45,000 what was a 1969
Shelby GT500 going for back then. Now that same house on the same street is
valued at $1,000,000+. A friend of mine in Florida called me the other day,
he had gone to the Sotheby's Auction. He put in one of his crap water
colours as he put it that he bought for around $30,000 20 years ago. The
highest bidder walked away with that piece for $420,000. A sculpture of
some description...can't remember what it was, was going on the block for
around $7,000,000 Flabbergasted my friend called me and said it fetched
$27,000,000. So the guy that bought the GT500E for $580.000 obviously has
big bucks and wanted the car. He won't lose. And this sale of the
convertible GT500! Well I would say it was a decent price for the current
market both for the seller and the buyer. Cause guess what guys! You won't
see it again for many years and when you do I shutter to think what the
price will be! Paper is paper until you convert it to something tangible.
Real Estate, Art and Cars that is what the big boys are going for!
