Alright that you guys you've been very helpful so far :)

    So far we have:
    -replaced valve cover gaskets
    -replaced carb-to-manifold gasket
    -cleaned the carb
    -replaced water neck gasket
    -pulled all spark plugs
-added a tad bit of oil to cylinders
-rotated the engine manually (it turns )
    -checked dist. cap and rotor

    still need to:
    -new spark plugs
-run gas line from pump to new gas container
    -new fluids/oil filter
    -new battery

and from there I believe we should be set to go. Oh and fire extinguisher too.

I would suggest new gas and a new tank/fuel lines. The whole project is a couple hundred dollars.
Sorry you had that on your list already

Well to get it running, for now we are just going to run a different line to a spare gas jug. Once we get it running and everything we'll look into actually dealing with the tank.

Although we have had the advise to get a gas stabilizer from autozone, what's your opinions on that? Oh we tested the fuel filter and it was not clogged at all, so at least the gas in there was not jelly or anything.

    Alright time for an update!

we ended up having to redo all the wires due to them being hopelessly switched around, not sure how or who did that one. also had to re-run gauge wires. But it runs! that's off a spare jug tho, now we need to deal with the tank itself.

BUT IT RUNS! I'll be posting up pix and hopefully a video as well =]

for those more observant, you will notice the strut bar is gone. Yes we took it off to work with the plugs/valve covers easier, but it will be going back on lol.

and this is actually my car in front of it:

for those unfamiliar with it its a '91 Dodge Stealth, my pride and joy lol
