New to this site but enjoying reading the articles. I own an 07 GT500 Red, 07 Black Shelby GT, 06 Shelby GTH ( real disappointed in how the prices have dropped on these lol) 1969 Shelby GT500 Fastback , 1968 Shelby GT 500 Convertible, 1965 GT350 clone and am currently working on a 1967 Eleanor and a 68 California Special. I love these old cars. Driving them is a blast. Have been a Mustang gu for years and have two sons who love it as well. Hope to be here for a long time
I have owned the 68 gt 500 convert for about 8 years. Bought the 69 fb 5 years ago. bought the new shelbys within the last two years of course. I noticed u had some mercurys I bought a 67 cougar this past friday i have been amazed at how nice it is and great it drives and rides. it is a local car withonly 57000 miles only thng i am having to get used to is the ivy gold paint lol
Those 60's Cougars have longer rear leaf springs, and a rubber insulator between the leaf spring and the rear end housing along with extra sound deadening material that make them feel quite a bit different than a Mustang. Thanks for sharing your information, now lets see some pictures!
