  1. What needs to be understood is that the reason the 68/69/70 verts are so rare
    today is that NOBODY really wanted/ordered them back in the day when they
    were new, that's why their production numbers are low.
    Why do you think there were only 7 '71 Hemi 'Cuda verts made. Because a real
    die hard street racer was not gonna order the car in the with the Hemi motor
    in the heavier convertible body style.

    So most people ordered the cars in the fastback model, that's why their
    production numbers are higher.

    But by today's collectible car standards. A 69 Shelby convertible is more
    popular now than when it was new.
