Help... trying to find 67 GT500 shoulder harness

    The 67's have a year specific retractor. It was not used on the 68's or 69/70's. Also, the belts are sewn togeter. They do not snap apart at the "Y".
    Hard to find, and then they are never cheap.

    Try Python Restoration in texas, they do a good job !

    Saw this post a while ago, but did not have any idea at the time - if you are still looking, here is a complete restored set on ebay - doesn't appear to have a reserve - currently about $600



    Looks to be complete and correct from what I can tell, but I am not sure about such things

    Finally got a log in on this forum - great resource guys, thanks

    You should get in touch with Stewart @ Python Restorations. He does awsome work. Maybe he did the set on ebay, not sure though. I can find a phone number tomorrow if you want.

    Hay all
    The set that is for sale on ebay(ebay seller name fordbelts) is stewart at pythone restoration im %95 sure of it.
    The same seller had a set of these for sale this time last year and i lost the bid for them so i contacted the seller and if im correct i asked him how much it would be just for a set of y belts as thats all thats missing in my shelby and he said $1400
    I maybe wrong but im sure thats stewart at pythone restoration hope this information helps.

    Checked with the seller - you are right. It is Python Restoration.

    Their website is www.pythonrestoration.com. It's worth a look.

    67 Shelby Y belts

    I have a pair of '67 Shelby Y belts for sale.Included are the working retractors and the original retractor covers.The belts themselves are in nice shape but the tags are missing.Price is $2500 firm plus shipping.If interested in pics,email gmurphy@mountaincable.net .Thanks...Greg.
