Mike, I missed you. Plan B netted a gold in street driven concours for the 65 GT convertible. I really wanted a detailed judging sheet to see what they think is not perfect. The space deal was awsome. The kids spent the whole weekend in the space park. One set a new record for the most consecutive rides on the Space Shot, 43. Matt has finally settled on the car he wants to build for High School. A 65 Shelby R Model clone with street equipment. He better get moving, he goes for his learners permit August 10. He will be doing solo I and II when he gets his license and hopefully WE can go vintage racing. He passed on my 88 Saleen convertible, I should probably sell it to raise funds and make room for the new project. I found a fastback body with a partial roll cage and most of the stock parts. Sunday was beautiful, but there were no 65 - 66 Shelbys except one restomod 66 350 convertible. Most popular year Shelbys seemed to be 69 - 70. There was an awsome selection of Boss 302's. The best part was the drive home, over the mountains in the convertible with the top down. It was perfect convertible weather. Just heard about the show in Nashville this weekend. Might be a good one day road trip.
