It would be interesting to know what kind of lives the shelbys weve owned have endured.
I guess you'd list the serial #s and then we past and current owners would be able to contact all prior /subsequent owners to inquire.

As a matter of fact, I'm trying to track down the prior owners of our 68 GT350 #2103
Are any of you out there?

Wow, sounds like the information you would get inside the SAAC registry, no??

SAAC is the first place to look.

Partially... If you are really interested in the history of your car you would probably want to actually communicate with the previous owner(s). I would at least.

Well, I have a letter that the 2nd owner sent back to me, about 4-5 years before he passed away. And, I have a letter from Jack Loftus, who used to own Jack Loftus Ford in Hinsdale, this is the dealer where my car was delivered.
I sent a letter to the address of the first owner, but, nobody even remembers the fellow up and down the block. He only owned my car for about 10 months.
I've owned it for the past 34+ years.

And, this is why that I posted a little ditty about writing to SAAC when/if you sell your Shelby and tell them who you sold it to. SO NOT count on the new owner doing this. This way, the ownership track is watched both ways, buyer and seller.

I sold my 66 GT350 earlier this year and made a commitment to keep in contact, and we have. I also forwarded his info to SAAC. I also told him to notify me if he ever decided to sell it. Even though he is the rightful owner, it's still my baby.
