In your opinion, what would be the best and rarest newer Shelby to buy, save and put away for the future to bring out 10 or 20 years down the road? Not for investment only. But the car you would want in your garage down the road.

I would say the 1999 Series 1. If you are talking about the new Shelby Mustang products, then I would say the Terlingua.

I would say the 2006 SHELBY GT-H (1 of 500) and the FIRST in the new Shelby Mustangs. Then a 2007 SHELBY GT-H Convertible (1 of 500) and the one of the Grabber Orange SHELBY GT (1 of 300), then ANY of the SHELBY GT 500's but try finding the Color Cobo Numbers and grab one in the Lowest Number Color Cobo Produced.

Dave wins the prize, Hertz car is the pick, direct relationship to the first generation cars.

better plan on a 20+ year plan. Most vintage cars now being collected were just another depreciating used car at the 10 year mark.

A vote here for the SGT/C grabber orange cars. 219 produced and a great looking car. At first I really didn't like it but it has grown on me.

But what about the (5) 5-speed 07 GT/H verts to the Hertz executives? That would be it I would think.

I beleieve there were also several demonstartors and mockup cars that got out too....the number 1000 may not be entirely accurate
