Hey, has anyone attempted to change out their stock shifter for the ford racing short throw shifter? I bought one thinking it wouldnt be a problem but looked under the car today to see that I might have to drop the trans to get to the bolts. Any suggestions or help. I sure dont want to have to go to the dealer to have it done. I changed out the shift handle to the ford racing hurst look alike..... Man what a difference from the stock handle even on the old linkage. Thanks for any help. Paul
