Whos going to SAAC 30?

I just decided today to attend SAAC 30 . It would be nice to meet all of NVSAAC members there. Is there a shelby caravan driving from Vegas? Ill have to pass on joining the caravan since Ill be in an RV and wont be bringing my 69 with me.
(I could blend in if I added a few scoops, stripes and 64 Tbirdtaillights . Everyone would probably frown on the only clone in the group ,right?)

The last SAAC I went to was in Pasadena or Leguna Seca back in about 81.
Ill bet its changed alot . I know prices have. Lets see,I was just out of school
making $3.50 per hour and gas was .27-.32 cents per gallon(at the cheap stations) Insurance was $60 per year full coverage. Theres more but Ill save it for other topics.

Im contacting a friend I met in Yuba City back in 72 to see if he can attend.
That very week I bought my car,I just knew I wouldnt see another Shelby in town,muchless a 69. as it is a small town. I drove into McDonalds and he was parked there in a 69 GT500! Shocked!
I never saw another shelby the next 5 years I was there...
I moved to Santa Cruz where there were alot of them in 77.

Anyway I wrote Rick Kopec to find out where I could park an RV . The instructions say something about the track. If it works out mabe we might beable to say hello there.
