Traction bar covers

    when did shelby start putting the fiberglass traction bar covers on the 65 gt350. and was the inertube still used.

    I have 550 and it has the fiberglass cover and inertube as a seal.

    524 has the one piece rubber ones.​

    055 has fiberglass covers and inner tube as a seal

    It seems all cars with "overriders" ( '65's, '65 "carryovers", and a number of
    '66's ) recieved the fibreglass covers with the infamous piece of truck
    inner tube for a seal to keep "moisture and dirt" out. Wow! Or at least
    thats what Shelby American lititure claimed then.
