Hey everybody, My name is Rich and im from North Jersey. Ive had my 68 Mustang convertable sitting in my garage for the past few years. I built a couple of other cars in the meantime among them was a 67 mustang coupe. So Im pretty familiar with Mustangs, always loved Shelbys, no way I could swing a real one, so I kind of decided when I got the car to build a 67 clone. I just found this site and it seems you guys are the ones to ask, and also lots of info I really had no idea about so its been good reading so far. I do search the forums first to see if my question can be answered . Well thanks for having me aboard and will post my first question.
If it wasn't for Mustang's, I would guess there would be no GT350 or GT500's. I'd say, stay tuned to this forum and you will gain a lot of important information. I've owned (in the past) two original (66GT350 s/n 6S1257 and 67 GT500 s/n?) and I thought I knew a lot about them, (not to imply that you don't), 30 years later and I daily look forward to the amazing historic and real knowledge that this forum has to offer. Good luck on your Mustangs and look forward to hearing more about your efforts. Wouldn't want to sell one, would you? Mike
Hi Rich, Welcome to the site and good luck on your project! Don't forget to post some pictures along the way with your progress.
