There is a great picture in some British sports car magazine (maybe Classic Car) of Shelby at about age 40-something leaning against a sports car (maybe Maserati) with an extremely attractive lady. I think her name was Jan Harrison. Turns out that she was an actress. I looked up her credits and she was in a movie called "Ft. Bowie" and the most frequent guest star on Lloyd Bridge's show, Sea Hunt. She was also married to Shelby in 1960 and they went to Tijuana on their honeymoon. I was wondering if anybody knows what happened to her (I guess I could look in one of those books called "Whatever happened to...) or if anybody else on the forum is interested enough in biographical threads to post any info on previous spouses of CS... I think that most car forum readers are interested only in the cars, but after you know all the details about the cars, the next thing is the people.... I used to watch Sea Hunt, where she frequently guest starred, but don't think at that time I remembered female actresses like I did later after I noticed there was this other race called women... Sea Hunt used to be my favorite program. On the site it even mentions she was Shelby's wife. I wish they had that great picture of her and Shelby leaning on a Maserati but instead they have some movie still. I think she is the wife he doesn't count in his grand total because he married and divorced her in Mexico. If anyone has a glossy of her standing with Shelby the Maserati Edgar owned, or any shots of Shelby as a race driver '54-'60 please send me an e-mail. Thanks, Photojournalistpro@hotmail.com

Re: More on Shelby's movie star wife way back when well, that's a great website. unbelievable how many great, and so many great but obscure, actors were on Sea Hunt. Z. Ray
Also on Death Valley Days was an obscure actor When I wastched the host that would introduce each episode, I thought he was well spoken and wondered "Why can't he get a real job--acting in a movie or something." I guess he failed upwards. His name was Ronald Reagan.
partial list, no dates, based on fragmentary info -Jeanne (mother of his three children) -Jan Harrison (TV star) married and divorced in Mexico early '60s just before the Cobra was born -Sue Stafford of New Zealand-- a six week marriage to get her into the country (ironically he employed her father Arnold as a race mechanic) --Historian Jerry Entin says there was a lady named Sandy Wilson --Historian Jerry Entin says there was an unknown marriage in the Eighties --Lena Dahl - from Sweden, she died in a Jeep accident in 1997 --Cleo Randell Roberts, married 1997 Note; In the book CARROLL SHELBY The Authorized Biography , Rinsey Mills mentions an American lady that was married to Carroll that he moved to an apt. on Wilshire, but I haven't looked in the 500-page book to find that name to see if it's the same one. Would like to hear any corrections of the list. I actually don't think he was married during the hayday of the Cobra, Shelbys and GT40s otherwise we would see pictures of "Mr. & Mrs. Carroll Shelby" at LeMans and other places
