Exhaust GT 500

    hello I'm Tony. I just purchased a 07 shelby 500 . it has stock exhaust. i would like to change it to the deepest ,loudest pipes i can get but i want to keep it street legal and emissions legal. please does anyone have some suggestions?

    Hiya,

    I replaced my pipes with Borla cat backs with the x pipe... It sound a lot better... However it has a BAD drone in 6th at low RPMs... It sounds alot better at the start and a 7 out of 10 in Drive by sound... thats with out headers or air induction... bot will change the sound... hope that helps...

    All of the cars that we have done at my shop have had 40 or 50 flowmasters installed,with 3 1/2 , S.S. tips installed .

    I installed the Ford Racing muffs on my 08 500, not too loud but does add some deeper tone, and they look good as well.

    HI TONY, MARK HERE, I JUST TOOK OFF MY FORD RACING MUFFLERS WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE SOUND,OR FIT. PRICE WAS BAD TO 700.00.I FOUND SOUND CLIPS OF BOOM TUBE MUFFLER DELETE KIT.THE SOUND IS GREAT

    since i posted this thread, i went with off-road H pipe ,Basanni mufflers w/ 4" tips. Now it sounds like the Beast that it is!!! Thanks to all you guys for your input!!
