The CANNONBALLER 2009 is set for October 8, 9, 10, of 2009 with the First Car rolling out at 7:00am on the 9th. A Pre-CANNONBALLER Party on the 8th and a Post-CANNONBALLER Party on the 10th. The Route is from Tallahassee Florida to Las Vegas Nevada, (SHELBY Headquarters). The CANNONBALLER 2009 will be limited to just 100 Vehicles with a Driver and a Co-Driver. The Route is from Tallahassee Florida to Las Vegas Nevada. The First Vehicle Clocks Out at 7:00am on October 9, 2009 and should be Clocking In on October 10, 2009. Pre-Cannonballer Party: October 8, 2009 Start of Cannonballer: October 9, 2009 Finish of Cannonballer: October 10, 2009 Post-Cannonballer Party: October 10, 2009 The Route is from Tallahassee Florida to Las Vegas Nevada, approximately 2125 miles in total, the route will cover scenic, beautiful but sometimes very challenging driving, mostly on Interstate 10. Since this is NOT a "Fastest Time Wins" Event, there are NO checkpoints, I have calculated about what it should take to get to Las Vegas with Gas Stops and Food Stops using my Car, and the TOP 5 Vehicles that get the Closest to the Time that I came up with will WIN Cash Prizes, The TIME will be a closely guarded secret and will only be revealed at the End of the Event. Only 100 Vehicles will be allowed to enter this Event. A target time has been set for this event. The Top 5 Winners of the event will be the Drivers of the Cars that get the closest to the chosen Set Time. The victorious Drivers will be announced at the Final Night Party. The event is open to just 100 Licensed Drivers over the age of 18. Registration is to be paid in full by July 31, 2009 but remember, it is limited to just 100 Vehicles, when the 100 openings are filled, that’s it.
