Anyone know how many of these cars still exist? Fastback... Also does anyone know what these cars are doing at auction? Fully restored. I need some good info also on where I can find a replacement fender tag with the Shelby # on it or is that even posible?:guns:

I think about 75% of the 144 are accounted for. Although it is considered a special paint color it actually was a replacement for sunlit gold which wasn't a big seller plus posed all kind of paint matching problems. You can always get a replacement tag but they can be spotted as such. If you have the original, put it back on no matter how tattered it is.

a new tag is possable. A.G. Backeast in Col. does exact work. He advertises in the Snake Bite news letter. He does not do air cars. You will need a Marty report, a pencil rubbing, proof of ownership, and maybe even some paper work from SAAC. Try the correl snake web site for info on the special paint cars, its a grat site for 68s. The color does not appeal to me however.

Sorry, I just noticed you said KR fastbacks, not all yellow. I show 86 produced.
