Tail Light 1967 gt 350

    Does any one have a good diagram of the tail light wiring on a 1967 GT350
    have the standard taillight loom and the cougar tail light loom need to know how they go together thanks Nick.

    They don't. The cougar tail light harness is not used on a 67 Shelby. Some parts that can be taken from a cougar harness can be utalized however. The mustang tail harness was snipped were the taillight pigtail came out on ether side and a new harness that goes to the Shelby tailights is connected by 2 butt conecters on ether side at that point . The cougar taillight plugs can be used. Green and the black wire were used for the harness which can be taken from a cougar harness also.

    hey Bob thanks for the info they seem to match up pretty good with the cougar tail light harness.

    I assume you have some version of a tribute car so in that case I am glad to see that you will be able to figure out how to finish and make a cougar tail harness work. I was addressing the question from the perspective of someone who would want to return their 67 Shelby back to be historically correct. The best of luck on your project.
