Did any of the '67 gt500 ever come with a manual choke? The reason for my question is my car [#1214] had a ford manual choke in the center of the lower dash gauge pod. Was thinking that some one added it, but its the same as the one in the book "mustang does it", page186.

I'm not aware of any G.T.500s coming through with a manual choke. All were automatic chokes since the primary carburetor was set up for that style of choke (C3AF-BK, List No. 2804).

If I had to guess I would think the same[dealer or original owner]. My car [#1214] was shipped to "Wood-Larkin Ford"in Toronto, so a manual choke for gettin' that ol' Gt-500 4spd fired up in the midle of Jan to go to work with maybe needed. Funny thing was When I bought the car, it had G60x15 snow tires on it! They were just cars back then.
