While researching flash tuners, I found out that our tune on the shelby gt is for 91 grade gas, which I find strange on a performance car. Is there a particular reason for this? Also I want to change my gear ratio to 4.10:1 and am wondering why it isnt like that stock on a pre-modded mustang? I know gas prices are high, but I buy a performance car for performance and am willing to pay more for more ponies.

Diabo provides three optomized tunes 87 Octane, 91 and 93. The three tunes are essentially the same with the exception of timing. These three Octane's represent what ia available in most states. In Calif, 93 Octane is not available. The tuners offer great flexability. Tune to 87 for a trip to vegas and retune it once you are there, 93 Octane is available; retune for higher performance. Diablo is very fast! A retune takes only 90 seconds, or, simply readjust the timing. Example- Go to Union 76 and buy their race gas, (101 Octane, enter the 93 tune and increase timing 7 degrees for awesome acceleration. The tunes are tested and safe! You can also adjust for a new CAI and the 410's, and correct your speedo, lower gears will mess it up. Enjoy!
