Glad to find the Shelby forum as I just took delivery on my 09 Shelby. Been 17 since my last Stang (fox body LX coupe 5.0 5spd) and have many times regretted selling that one. Will be looking to the site for many suggestions as I get the Shelby broken in. IN10SE
Thanks for the welcome! I patiently waited for a Black with the Alloy (almost black) stripes. Interior is the dark charcoal with the red crimson inserts. I had checked nationally all the Canadian Dealer inventories and this seemed to be a hard to find combination. It now has 600 Km (375 miles) on it and I have been using the supercharger a bit more liberally. Gets really crappy MPG but give incredible thrillls. Fastest car I have ever owned. Well worth the price of admisson / maintainance. Any comments on the fact that it needs about 3 miles to get the transmission warmed up or else there is rather notchy (a little grind if done too quickly) shifting 1-2 and 2-3. When warm, it is very smooth. Also as the car warms up, the clutch goes from easy engagement to being hyper sensitive and wanting to chatter. This is commented on in the owners manual but seems a little extreme. Any thoughts / comments?
