Correct finish for rear springs

what kind of flat clear after the painting is being used on the springs,is it from a gun or a brand name from a rattle can that will last without peeling or cracking.--thanks

 

Currently using/trying Eastwoods satin. Have not been able to find a good supplier of the stuff they use to sell (was about three times as expensive)
