I have finally located the correct date coded carb for my 66 GT 350 with and automatic and may want to sell one of both of these carbs. I have had the 67 carb since the approx 1968. It was apart and I think I have the wrong base on it . I think I have the correct base plate in the box of carb parts as I had several of these over the years (approx 6 of them) I now have these two left, one is a repo I bought in the early 70's (around 1972 or so) and the other is supposed to have been of a 1967 GT 350. I may sell or swap or even if you have a real compelling story i might even give it away. Now that may sound impossible but I had someone give me an original tach for my 66 350 because he thought I had a neat car. Someone had stolen the tach out of my car in 1967 before I bought it. I had the original bracket and it's now on it's way to New Mexicio to be rebuilt by Margert ot Mo Ma ( or what ever the name is), since someone was nice to me, I may be nice to someone else. I also have two complete Red Oxide fastabck quarters that I purchased in 1978 or so when I worked at a Ford dealer, I also purchased new fenders, dash pad etc. I used most of these during the restoration and may want to sell the quarters, they have been hanging on the wall for the past 10 years and spent the previous 20 years in an attic, no known marks or damage.. I may be willing to sell these, but they won't be cheap Here are a few pictures of the carbs One has the date 731 and the other is 993 After 15 years off the road, and 10 years in the barn I am less then a year a way from driving it again, I hope to drive it across country in 2011 following as much as the same route I did in 1971. I kept a log book and where I went and what I spent, I think this trip will cost more then the $125 I spent then and I won't drive it out onto the Salt Flats again. I'll post pictures of the 1972 trip to the Salt Flats in a few weeks, have to get them out of the old albums Good times and lots of memories on the best $1,000 investment Iever made, purchasing a legendary GT350 6S1431, will rise again and be driven like it should be, a stolen retanl car

Let me see if I understand what you are trying to say. You finally located the correct 600 CFM Autolite 4100 for your automatic '66 GT350 (H?) and you may want to sell or trade one or both of the Holley S2MS-A carbs? Those Autolites are really tough to come by, I've been looking for one for my dad's Hertz car for a couple of years now. Glad that you were able to get one for your car. The picture of the tag is a bit fuzzy in your PDF file, but I assume the numbers are C6ZF-F.
Yes I found a correct autolite carb, paid way too much for it, but the person I bought it from said I'd never find another with the date that close to my cars build date (3 weeks earlier) The one Holley with the 731 build date is the one I really want to part with.
Yes Chris that is a motorcycle Front End, it is my 1975 Kawasaki 900 I purchased brand new and put almost 30,000 miles on it in the first 18 months I owned it. It now has 31,000 miles on it. I plan on restoring it next year, not complete becasue it's not really that bad, but mostly rechrome and new NOS exhaust I found for sale in Austrailia, paid almost as much for the correct exhaust as a I did for the motocycle 32 years ago. Paint will be the original as I just can't seem to justify repainting it. May buy a set of NOS tank and body panels and repaint them and keep the orginals unrestored, drove this accross country in 1975 and 76, once to Canada
Hi John thanks for the reply. Sorry, don't know what you mean "sent you a PM" Please explain. My 66 Shelby #1645 has 45,000 miles and is in original condition, no rust, with one exterior paint job in 1980's. Carburetor has been rplaced and original which was in the trumk when second owner sold it - was missing when I bought it. Undercarriage is still original primer and the Ford part numbers are on the exhaust system. Interior appears to be original. If your carb is no longer available, could you direct me to one for sale.
