68 GT350 Front Bumpers

    The 68 bumpers have extended bumper brackets. Did they ever come out unextended? I thought they would look better without the extension.

    No. I don't think the bumper wouldn't go back far enough to clear fiberglass without them.

    The front bumper brackets have to be extended to clear the fiberglass. I know many of us have had a hell of a time installing on extended brackets without scratching frontglass and grille mldgs.let alone not extended.
