I was hoping for a forum member recommendation for SW gauge restoration. There are many out there that advertise that they restore but would like a real world recommendation. I have a Mechanical Tach that I would like to run in CSX 2506 but it is yellowed and non working. Thanks for any input. Bob

They will also match colors. If you send them an example of an 'old' gauge color, they will match the 'new' gauge.

Does the mechanical tach you want to run have a different bezel design?

Probably a Accel duel point even though it is not historically correct. Bob

    Bob:
I purchased a Ford Motorsport tach drive unit a few years ago, and will probably use it. They were made by MSD for Ford. It is the standard height of a regular vintage small diameter dual point distributor. I'm sure it could be converted "Back" to points if desired but for me and my application (non CSX 289) I'm ok with the electronics. It also keeps the plugs clean from the additional fuel dumped by the Webers.
