What do you guys think about the 2010 Mustang? I like it. The exterior looks good and I think the interior has definitely improved.
I was on the fence about the styling changes until last night. I watched the 2010 Mustang Reveal on Speed Channel. Good show! A little history and the man himself, Carroll Shelby, was interviewed as well as Parnelli Jones, John Force and Ashley. The star of the show was the Grabber Blue "tricked out" 2010. It really looked good, even the rear end. Of course I'm a little biased toward the '07 white Shelby GT's but hey, it's a darned good try Jim
Yuck, I dont like it. I thought I was looking at the new Dodge Challenger for a brief moment. The back end is ugly. I dont know. Im sure it will grow on me like Lime Gold did..haha Jim #3000
The 2010 Mustang:first impression I missed the preview at Santa Monica airport at which various illuminaries including CS Shelby and Jack Roush were present (both wearing 10-gallon hats) , but I did see the car a day later at the LA Auto show preview. First impression: new hood looks like the new Camaro but overall I think the front looks better, I like the inboard lamps (similar to '67 Shelby after they moved the inboard lamps toward the ends of the grille). The rear fenders have a bit of a kickup, maybe one inch, like the '65 Mustang. The taillights seem angled just for the sake of being angular, on the fence on that.Anyhow dash is also changed. There should be plenty of pictures on the net already, because there were at least 300 reporters there. I found out that the 2010 Shelby version will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show with the press preview set for Sunday, January 11 - Tuesday, January 13, 2009. That is presuming Ford survives the current "perfect storm" for the Big Three. Scuttlebutt among reporters from Detroit was that Ford somehow seems better positioned among the three to survice with Chrysler being the most likely to fail as its new owners don't have the stomach for a bumpy ride. I sat in the new Challenger and it seems only slightly smaller than an aircraft carrier. Good idea, wrong floorpan choice.
