On Ebay this car had been posted:

The car number is 2669, and I notice the car has Marchal lights but has the raised rear marker reflector. Would it be safe to assume that the Lucas lights were replaced on this car for the Marchal, as I thought the Marchal lights were only on the early cars, which would not have had the raised rear marker reflectors?
    Thanks Kevin

The two are not related, and the items you stated are generalizations. I seem to recall the dates being mid-February for the quarter reflectors and mid March for the Marchals.

This car appears to fall in between.

I noticed that car, on the right rear quater panel the early reflector with the chrome molding, & the left side, had the oblong style of the later reflector without the molding. ?? -S.

Marchals were installed on cars through 3rd week of March so they could have marchals and raised reflectors.
