This is a very worthwhile charity and the show was usually well organized, however..... I attended 3 times as a vendor showing my Superformance dealership cars. They require a massive amount of $$ to be a vendor that my business could not justify, so I just entered the cars in the show and they knew I was there for sales purpose and were happy I'd traveled 500 miles to attend. Unfortunately it never resulted in high exposure parking despite assurances. This is an outdoor venue in February and I was 3 for 3 in downright nasty raining weather. The last year I attended was during an outbreak of twisters, hail, and monsoon-like rain. The following day, there was a "peaceful Sunday driving cruise" open to car show entries, which turned out to be a disaster, a bunch of rich idiots in their toys, which started with a 120mph+ launch with people passing each other in a residential area marked for 45mph, and ended about 3 miles later with some moron totaling his BMW and luckily not killing his passenger or an innocent pedestrian. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but a cruise is follow the leader, not a race, especially after an idiot in a Benz almost took off the right side of my GT40 when I didn't see him, passing me on my blind side very unexpectedly. The entry fee has gone up from $50to now $125 per car in the past five years which I know it's for a good cause, is really a bit steep for an outdoor show that is only a few hours in duration. Just my 2 cents....
