I have a Finned oil pan that looks like the Cobra oil pan , except it says Shelby not cobra. I have been unable to find another one like it. I might be able to load a picture of it. Has anyone ever seen one or have any knowledge, I paid a good penny for it. Thanks

It is probably an over the counter pan made by Shelby after he sold the rights to the Cobra name to Ford. They were made somewhere around 1968 or so. Others here will fill in the details.

Not uch to fill in you just about covered it. The Shelby marked oil pans, intakes ,valve covers etc. do not not have near as much of a market value copared to the coresponding Cobra marked item because the Shelby marked ones did not come as original equipment on any Shelby GT350 or 500.Bob
