    Hi:

I do not know if this is the right place to post this, but I am looking for an original holley carb for my 68 GT 350 May 68 build car. It is a 4 speed Car. I believe it is either a 4118-S or a 4234 with an auto choke on it. Thanks in advance.

    John,

You're looking for a S8MS 9510-C (tagged S8MS C), Holley List No. 4234. The carb is rated at 600 CFM. I believe the 4118 was an over the counter carb offered by Shelby. It flowed 715 CFM. The automatic cars used a S8MS 9510-A (tagged S8MS D), list No. 4069 that also flowed 600 CFM.

This information pertains to G.T.350 cars only. G.T.500s were different. Hope this helps.

    Hi John,
Not an easy one to find, I think I may know of one, I'll ask if its still available. As mentioned above the 4118 is the service carb.

    Roy and Tim:

Thanks for the emails on part numbers and a possible available carb. Tim, let me know if your contact has the 4234 or the replacement 4118-S.

    John,
It was a 4234 and I went ahead and checked and he just sold it. I'll keep my ears open for another.

Thank you for your email on this. I will look to see if you can access expired ebay listings.
