Brake Vent detail 66GT350

    This is my first post so bear with me if it doesn't work. I hope I have attached 2 images of an original unrestored GT350 showing the brake vent flanges on the outside of the car, my car 6S1235 also came this way, but I have seen many with the flange to the inside, was this just random, or best fit at the time? Anyone know what is "correct"?

    6S1757 had (and stiil has) the flanges originally on the inside.

    Majority (vast) IMHO were mounted with the flange on the inside. But know of at least one original that had them mounted on the outside (6S280x) TOp picture is from my wife's car - stuff has never been off.
