I'm considering buying a set of 454 wheels for my 65 mustang fastback track car. I would like to know if anyone else has tried this wheel on a 65. The wheels are 17x8, 4.25 backspace. I'm thinking 225/45/R/17 in front, maybe a 235 in back. Any advice pros or cons would be helpful. Thanks Ranger Jerry
I have 17 x 8 with 4.7 backspacing rims on my 66 fastback. (Not 454's) Also my tires are BF Goodrich Comp TA's that are 245/45-17's all the way around. My car is not lowered and they barely clear on the inside front upper A arms and I had to roll the lip on the front fenders. They do look great in my opinion.
